MR. DAVID SOLOMON

PRESIDENT

David Solomon is a passionate and dedicated leader, determined to change the economic narrative of the Wakirike people. David is the grandson of Chief Minainyo Solomon Adenemibo and son of Sir Dagogo Minainyo and Madam Gladys Fiabema Igbana. His paternal grandfather, Chief Minainyo Solomon Adenemibo was recently awarded a posthumous Community Service Award in recognition of his invaluable contributions towards the building of St. Peter’s Cathedral Church in Okrika Island.
David is a seasoned and proven manager and leader. His leadership roles span various domains as an international business consultant, a restaurateur, and a manufacturing operations manager. His impact resonates across teams. David’s expertise lies in planning, organizational supervision, and personnel management. His hands-on experience and approach in his professional career have shaped his leadership style which has led to an array of personal and professional accomplishments in both past and current roles’. As the pioneer President of Izon Ebi Minnesota, David demonstrated visionary leadership.
His current role as Vice President of International Students Fellowship (ISF – founded in 1956), reflects his commitment to community and mentorship.
As the current President/Chairman Board of Directors of Wakirike USA, David drives organizational success and inspires respect, confidence, and followership. He was on the 11th of May, 2024 during its first global convention at Houston, Texas, given an award by the Ijaw National Congress of the Americas in recognition of his “efforts, past and present, to the formation and growth of the Ijaw National Congress of the Americas (INC-Americas).
David holds degrees in Manufacturing Management and Manufacturing Engineering (with a specialization in plastics)
His certifications in Injection and Extrusion molding, along with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, underscore his continuous learning.
David is based in Minnesota, USA, and deeply connected to his community.
Beyond work, he enjoys reading, watching the History Channel, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through regular workouts. He is married with four children.
